The font type used is Arial. It is written in black and bold so that it looks clear as to who the credits are going to.

How do we see the font?

We see the font placed at different positions around the screen.

What happens behind the font? Who do we see, who are we introduced to, what sound do we hear?

We are introduced to the families who were inspired by to make the movie and also to photos of newspapers of families that have experienced tragic spiritual engagements. We are also introduced to the cast through an old family photo in the background. We see a graveyard which holds significance in the movie and also a photo of the doll 'Annabelle' that haunts the house. The house is the last image we see because it is the central focus of the movie. We hear the same non-diegetic soundtrack playing behind the font, it sounds old and eerie because the genre of the film is horror.

 

What do you like about this sequence, why did you pick it?

I chose this sequence because it is an interesting clip to analyse, this is because there is a lot happening in the title, and it is a horror movie which is my favourite genre.
